En fantastisk hund!
Glada, alerta, aktiva och allround är ord man ofta får höra angående denna härliga ras, själva har vi svårt att tänka oss en ras som passar oss bättre.
Verkar Wheaten Terrier vara en ras för Er, läs så mycket ni kan komma över om rasen innan ni bestämmer Er.
Åk runt och träffa hundar och uppfödare för att skapa Er en så god bild som möjligt.
Ni kan säkert tänka Er alla fördelar som en Wheaten Terrier har, men glöm inte det extra arbete en Wheaten Terrier kräver.
Det är två saker som man skall vara extra medveten om, pälsvården kräver sin tid och omsorg, och att det är en "Terrier" således har man Terriertemperament att ta hand om.

Pälsvården börjar vi med att träna redan innan valparna lämnar oss och fortsätter ägarna att sköta hundens päls regelbundet och noggrant i början blir det mycket sällan till ett problem.
När pälsen blivit färdig vid 2-3 års ålder blir den mer lätthanterlig.
En Wheaten Terriers kynne är underbart och de är oftast stora personligheter, alla med egna later och idéer.
Man bör vara bestämd och konsekvent i sin uppfostran av en Wheaten. Men "hårda tag", är inte att rekommendera.
"Humor" är en väldigt viktig ingrediens i Din mentalitet som tänker leva med en Wheaten Terrier.
Med viss modifikation brukar vi säga att "man får den Wheaten Terrier man förtjänar".

Uppfostra Er Wheaten Terrier med mycket kärlek och respekt så får ni en fantastisk kamrat i Er hund.

Happy, alert, lively and allround is words that You often hear when talking about this lovely breed. We don't think we could ever have a breed that would suit us better.
Does the Wheaten Terrier seem to be the breed for you? Read as much as you can about the breed before you decide what breed to buy. Go and visit different dogs and breeders to create a fair picture of the breed as possible.
You can probably think of all the positive things of owning a Wheaten Terrier, but don´t forget all the extra work the Wheaten Terrier needs.
It is especially two things that you will have to be extra observant about when buying a Wheaten, taking care of the coat take up much time, and the dog is definitely a Terrier, consequently you will have to coop with the Terrier temperament.

We start taking care of the coat long before the puppies come to their new homes, so if the new owners continues to take care of the coat at regular intervals and careful, there is often not a problem.
When the coat is mature in a age of 2-3 years, the coat is much more easy to take care of.
A Wheaten Terrier's temperament is wonderful and they are often great characters, all with ideas and manners of their own. In the upbringing of a Wheaten you should be resolute and consistent. But we don't recommend you to be rough on them.
To have a" sense of humor" is what we think is a important ingredience in your own mentality if you are going to live with a Wheaten Terrier.

Train your Wheaten with a lot of love and respect and you will have the most wonderful friend in your dog.
